Update: The Web We Weave

Shawn's over for brunch and came bearing a pretty amazing housewarming/hostess gift...
ToKisstheCook.com

That's right folks, as soon as the resident computer whiz and I (maker of French toast) can figure out Google and Blogger's quirks, I will have a website. I'm thrilled.

And yet wishing I could be more helpful.

Update: I am still soooo excited!! But now I have a for real website. Like someone just gave me a great piece of land and now I need to build something worthwhile. So I think it may be a bit before you start getting redirected there because as Susie has noted, it's a lot of work. And as the whiz knows all to well, I am starting from wood chips when it comes to HTML.

I may be pleading for help from time to time but this is a great new project for the winter months and one I think I can handle no matter how sore I am. I will be my own webmaster.

MANY thanks again to SFM for the .com and particularly for the patient hours of research that followed. Also congratulations are in order as Shawn had never had fruit before this morning and he had both blueberries AND strawberries with French Toast. I'm not even joking, twas a momentous occasion.

Yay! do you feel super official now? I did when I got my domain!

P.S. Would your resident computer whiz happen to know why feed readers are marking my new entries with old dates? It's driving me mad and I don't know how to fix it!

Well, at this point, the only thing that will change is that tokissthecook.com will forward to my blogspot address. This is until I build out my own template. We're having a tough time with it though-they don't exactly make it easy!

Jamie- You did quite well on your own!

Yay!

Um, my friend and I spent 12 hours on Blogger yesterday trying to make our own template. We got a customized banner up and um, that's pretty much it. They make it sooo hard!

But today I figured out how to make it so you could get your own little icon next to your site address in the address bar. In less than 30 minutes!

Let me know if you have any questions. Chances are I won't be able to help, but I'm really good at offering support!

Thanks again for inviting me to brunch!

Those strawberries were the best I've ever had in my entire life! Seriously.

mrhe`- Thanks! I'm clearly pretty pumped!

Susie- We may need to powow when you get here...pool our knowledge and I will be gunning for the inside track on this new project of yours:)

Shawn- YAY! And as for the berries...unreal. So glad you found them palatable, even if you never eat them again.
