Here's A Secret- Can you keep it?

I registered for NaBloPoMo. That's right. Little Miss I-Post-Once-A-Week-TOPS is going to log something every day in November.

Here's the catch: I'm not going to be any less busy in November so posts will be modified. If I can't make time to write about the normal nonsense, you'll get a photo essay. Or a suggested mix tape. Or a profile of an unsuspecting acquaintance who will be given no warning. Or a short story/ hopeful self-fulfilling prophecy.

So what I'm saying is....it could really be anything. And you're not expected to check back every day (or at all if it just gets too ridiculous) but I'm kind've excited at the prospect of writing ANYTHING. Which is something I could always have done, I suppose, but now there will be 30 days of total chaos. Chaos with sweet potato pies, road trips, the great Northwest, lots of Jaimeson, my favorite holiday, goat-cheese stuffed figs, puppies and yarn. Yes, yarn.

Are you even ready for this? I promise I won't think less of you if you're not. Cause I'm going to be bringing it. Bringing it everywhere I go. Happy Halloween....a preview (ok, maybe not THAT much leg but thanks, Sigourney):

The Gatekeeper! I just saw "Ghostbusters" at a movie theater in Madison a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure no NaBloPoMo for me this time around. I doubt I have enough goods to post everyday.

Maybe it's just me, but I do remember how several months ago you were posting more than once a week on a regular basis---or am I wrong? Hmm...anyway, I look forward to what you will put up. I loved your Vlog! You are entertaining and I loved the orange shrug, orange flower earrings and orange mixing spoon (where did you get it?!).

Jonk- Congratulations on the re-visiting of NaBloPoMo after all! There is ALWAYS enough awesome music!

CurlySue- You're right, there was a delicious time when I was posting several times a week but in the blink of an eye it's amazing what a more demanding/rewarding job will do for time! Maybe this will be a segue to a better routine? Per the orange madness, the "shrug" is actually an $18 red pashmina that's tied behind rather than in front (neat trick), the orange flower earrings were from a jeweler at a street fair J and I strolled through in July and the orange mixing spoon of happiness is from a place in Chicago called Elevenzees (an awesome homeage to Tolkien filled with great gifts!)You can also get them on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Zak-Designs-Cheeky-Orange-Spoons/dp/B000FNESLE

Alexa: I'm taking cues from you friend!
