Thanks to everybody who helped me out here- Lars was just as good as everyone has said. Quirky, sweet and incredibly well-acted from every angle. There was even some Lutheran love thrown in which my mom noticed right away apparently:) Runners Up (and potential movie nights in the coming weeks):

I've heard good things about "Lars."
I'm usually a HUGE movie fan but nothing lately is catching my eye. The last thing I saw was "Elizabeth: the Golden Age" and it was hilarious! (But it's not a comedy....)
