In other news, I want the pillows below for my couch to replace the striped velour ones I've been vowing to replace...since I bought the couch. I think the white against the khaki and orange is going to be really crisp and add my light blue walls? That's a summer room. And contrary to the weather thus far, summer is coming. Hold fast!
Blissliving Gemini Pillow in FlamingoIn keeping with the orange theme, I just saw this teapot by Terra Keramik in the June HOME magazine and decided I need it. Need it like I need an extra buttonhole but you get the picture. Hypothetically deciding between orange, blue and green.

You have great taste. Ooo, and gemini pillow! Gemini!
Ooh, I agree about those pillows!
Nic: Ummm...you know I bolded Gemini just for you right? Seriously.
Overcoat: Thanks...now I just need whip up my creative accounting and figure out how to make it happen!
I adore both of those items! Being poor sucks. My apartment this fall will be such a mishmash of cheap and hand-me-down items! :(
I do all of my decorating in thrift stores (which I'm sure you've already considered!) and I've found that if you have a lot of patience and check back regularly, you can really find some amazing stuff! You could also check out a fabric store & maybe just re-cover the pillows you have? I have no idea how hard that would be.
Okay, your taste is what I want in my apartment. That room looks wonderful! Can I have it??
LSass: Oh we are going to go TREASURE HUNTING when you move here! Like PIRATES!
Overcoat: You are officially my hero if you know how to sew. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be all that hard to make two square pillow cases but I'm not crafty in that way and certainly don't own a Singer. Thrift stores though...my FAVORITE chair and the first piece of furniture I bought by myself was thrifted at the Mt Sinai exchange for $60.
CurlySue: No but if you post a picture of your living room I would LOOOVE to play a game of virtual decorating!! How fun would that be?!
