I used Foodmomiac's system for peeling peaches and this is what ended up on my cutting board last night. Just me or are naked peaches in high season a little on the sexy side? Gorgeous.
And delicious, might I add...we enjoyed a hybrid of the cobbler and Epicurious' crisp around 2am last night when we finally got in from the airport. I'm gonna need a nap but he's here and we had our sweet-summer-lovin-peach-brown sugar-butter crisp with vanilla buttercream ice cream and a hulking glass of wine and life continues to be pretty damn peachy!!
TKTC Note: Peachy status further improved by mastering my single-serving stovetop espresso-maker this morning (Thanks Mol!!) with cold peach crisp on the side. Ah, summer:)
