Best croissant of my life at Sweet Cakes in Ukranian Village. Buttery crust and fluffy layers that still feel moist when pinched to take a piece for cafe-dipping. Glad I didn't know about this sooner and Thanks Abs!!
After a full day of window shopping and meandering, I took to the garden for late afternoon sun and some reading. Absolutely beautiful!
HoneyCat decided to join me in the sunbathing by stretching out directly behind my head. She's a good cat. Doesn't need to be ON me, per se, but proximity is important. Although she doesn't look too thrilled with the photoshoot here.
Deadline week at the office and I'm walking to work tomorrow...goodniiight!

Sounds like a really lovely Sunday. Hooray for good weather. Might be a good week to be working hard - it's supposed to be hot and sticky out. Ick!
Ah...I love Sunday. I do not like deadline weeks or th equivalent. Good luck!
have you signed up for the rss 20SB food feed? i'm moderating it, sign up - we need you ; )
Love croissants! You'll be surprised to know that Trader Joe's has VERY authentic frozen croissants that will rival local "french" bakeries...mostly because it's the same stuff they use. Ha, ha! I have the inside scoop from a former worker.
Mmm... croissant!
I love a sunny day of reading more than almost anything!
I was going to comment about something else, but now all I'm trying to do if figure out when I had the best croissant of MY life.
That croissant looks delicious! And the cat is too cute.
Don't you just LOVE Sunday Funday? Even the name makes me smile.
There is nothing like a good weekend day before a hectic week.
