Processing

Summer is coming to a close and so, hopefully, will my writer's block. I haven't had an adventurer's block. Or a lover's block. Or, God forbid, an eater's block. It's just been hard to iterate for some reason.

And when I do start to type, it comes out so long and strong that it would be inappropriate to burden you with it. Six pages single-spaced to describe an evening. Self-aggrandizing absurdities like that.

So while I'm pulling myself together and checking the nonsense at the door, here's a pretty pie to look at. It's cherry with a splash of bourbon. The inverse of how I take my Manhattans and a harbinger of what is to come.

Another reminder that doesn't help my humble cause...Tumblr has an RSS as well and it gets updated almost daily with a wide assortment of short form silliness, if not long form explanation.

TKTC - will you or Mushroom Channel be at BlogHer Food in SF this month? A spot just opened up and I got to register. Would love to drop by to say HI to you if you are at the event.

Your pie deserves to be on the cover of a magazine!
