Wicker Park Phase 2

The living room in Benjamin Moore's "Glass Slipper." I also have to give a fabulous shout-out to my boys at CG Floor Finishes & Paint Supplies on Ashland because they were awesome, patient and I think Eddie had a crush on my mom.

Update: Who else thinks that the corner above the couch is just begging for a little vintage crystal chandelier? That part was rhetorical but the REAL question is Art Deco or Louis XIV style de bling?

Your apartment looks very nice. I'm jealous. My brother used to live on North Wood Street, and it was always fun to visit him. Now he's out in the 'burbs.

I just went onto Google Maps to remind myself exactly where he lived, and using their "Street View" feature, I am staring right at his old place right now. Kinda creepy.

A DHL truck is barreling down the street, a milisecond away from obstructing my view. Close call.

Hmm, well, upon closer review, there's actually a dude emptying out the back of that DHL truck, so it wasn't going to get in the way after all.

I may have too much time on my hands.

Wow, so really I just need to walk a block or so, look north and south for a DHL truck and there I'll have it. Seriously though, depending on the cross street, your brother lived close by and it's still fun down here. And the Empty Bottle is in walking distance which I'm going to guess would be a pretty great scene for you.
