It's so late but I'm happy to say that I rang in my 25th birthday awake & smiling widely in the living room with my two favorite furry creatures, Sergio Assad and Sunshine. Life is good.Picture is from Saturday night when we decided to crash a Roller Derby rooftop party for PBR's and tattoos before killing it with Kiss at Liar's Club. You could see the Navy Pier fireworks in the distance which seemed appropriate for a birthday post. Jaimeson once told me that 25 is a good year to let things fall into place... sounds like a good enough plan to me!
The one thing I'd take to the bank? It's gonna be an interesting year, puppies. Buckle on up:)

YEAH - Happy Birthday! 25 was a good year for me. I think. It was so long ago, I have mostly forgotten it by now. Make sure to stay young this year. Not too much planning - you've got time for that.
Happy birthday, lady. Twenty-five is the year that I quit my job, drove across the country by myself, spent two months backing in Europe, moved to NYC, spent a semester in law school, quit law school, moved to Wisconsin, and started making music. I hope your 25th year is less tumultuous, but just as magnificent.

my 25th year was one of the best/worst years of my life thus far.
i say that in the best way possible. for the lows there were amazing highs, like moving to cleveland!
once i turned 25 it GOT it, but then again i've always been a late bloomer. haha.
regardless, hope this year is great for you : )

I am distraught right now. I just checked Tastespotting.com, as I do every morning, and discovered that it is gone. If you go to the website there's a "post-it note" of sorts that just says they can't operate the site any more because of legal reasons.
