I have some amazing odds n ends so this is a shorty but a goody then a restaurant review tomorrow!
Susie, TKTC's very favorite Boston girl, has a fantastic guest post happening over at the big time today. Also known as, College Candy.
Which reminds me....Nilsa and Angela pretty much made my week with this little emblem. I've only been at this blog biz for a few months and I am constantly deferring to people like them for inspiration and insight into this rather unique little universe. Thanks guys!
In turn, I've got a few people I'd love to recognize and I've linked to some of my favorite posts:
You Should Try Harder- Adie is a hesitant cynic. With classically fantastic timing.
We Are Not Martha- I'm not Martha either but these ladies would fool me.
Habitually Chic- I love a good decorating blog but I've linked to HC's most recent because her picks for most stylish movies of all time just about mirror my own. particularly in the picking of BOTH Thomas Crown Affairs.
The Charming Hedonist- Because she says things that make laugh/ frighten the shit out of me regularly. Lately in particular.
Starting Over @ 24- Alright, way to pick the popular kid. I know. But he really does rock and if you're not reading, you missing out. It's that easy.
Better Than Cupcakes- Because Sues is a friend and Tumblr adds to the massive internet cache of items that suit her. "You cannot protect yourself from sadness without protecting yourself from happiness."
Jonk Music- Because he's a contributor and most of the time, he doesn't even know it. GREAT MUSIC!
AWESOME blog post via Brother. A big ditto. What if you could live you're entire life with that kind of intense focus, that kind of pure joy in the moment. I would be happy with striving for that a couple times a WEEK!!!
Brother also apparently got 3.5 delicious hours of sleep last night. We've unintentionally turned "active music appreciation" into a family affair. He was with Jaimeson earlier in the week and Thurs night he inherited a massive Blitzen Trapper slumber party. Apparently real rockbands like RockBand just as much as everyone else.
I love linking back to their site because the Wild Mountain Nation reminds me that summer is coming and soon enough I'll be able to put the record on in my window, sit in the garden with friends and have a few beers on one of those days where it's bright till 9pm. Think happy thoughts while this gray, cold drizzle is happening.
Neither here nor there...I find this hilarious:

Aww, you're welcome. Your Excellence Award was well deserved. I'm already clicking over on the links you've suggested. Hooray! That video: hilarious indeed!
My assistant and I play that "Charlie bit me video" every day. Every. Single. Day.
ooooooh I want to be one of your friends sitting in your garden drinking beers listening to B.T. -- I look forward to that. :o)
"Charlie bit me" hysterical...
You totally deserved the excellence award. :)
Oooh wow, I got 3 shout-outs...yay and thank you!
I'm not sure what that says about me though? Perhaps I spend a little too much time in the blog/writing world? Eh, oh well.
Nilsa: Well thanks again:) And Charlie bit me. Hilarious. And another great reason Charlie and his brother are not allowed at your wedding.
Sass:I think I was the last person to find this. We've watched it 4 times already this morning.
Joner: You're already one of those friends:) Beer and guacamole!
Cheryl: Thanks- what a fun item to be passed around the blogosphere!
1. You're very welcome!
2. For the record, you're not much newer to the blog world than I am. I started my blog in September, just like you. :)
Ouch Chawlee!!
God I love that video.
Thanks for the shout out, Cook! Much love, girl. Much love.
Sues: We, again, posted simultaneously. You spend just enough time on the internet because I like all of it:)
Ang: Why do I assume you're a pro? Oh, Cause you're good.
So: I've seen Charlie crack himself up in cannibalism 9 times in a 24 hour period. Love love love.
Oh goodness, best video evar! I love little kids that speak with english accents. Makes me want to sing for some odd reason.
It's still hurting!
